Church Leadership & Governance

FHM Church is led by a Leadership Team consisting of our Lead Pastor, associate Pastors, and Deacons. This team works together to provide spiritual direction, oversee ministry operations, and ensure FHM is faithfully pursuing its mission. We operate according to our Church Bylaws, with the Bible as our ultimate authority.

Our Deacons are crucial servant leaders. They focus on the practical care and service needs of the church, including assisting with worship, managing facilities, providing benevolence, and supporting the Pastors in various capacities, allowing the Pastors to focus on teaching and prayer.

Leaders are identified based on demonstrated spiritual maturity, commitment to FHM, and character (following biblical principles like those in 1 Timothy 3). Candidates are nominated by the existing Pastors and Leadership Team, receive essential training, and are appointed for a set term.

The Leadership Team meets periodically (typically once a month or every other month) to pray, review ministry progress, discuss strategic issues, and make sure we are good stewards of the resources God has provided FHM Church.

For general questions about a ministry, please contact the Pastor or Deacon overseeing that area. For more confidential or strategic matters, please email the Lead Pastor

Resources & Expectations

We expect all leaders to maintain a close relationship with Jesus Christ, live according to biblical values, demonstrate humility, and be fully committed to the mission of FHM Church. This includes consistent attendance, serving with faithfulness, and being a good example to the congregation.

Yes. While we don't have a formal large-scale training program, new and existing leaders participate in essential one-on-one mentorship with the Lead Pastor or an assigned Pastor, and we provide relevant resources (books, articles, or workshops) as needed to equip leaders for their specific roles.

Communication is usually done directly through the Pastoral Staff and during our periodic Leadership Team meetings. We rely heavily on direct communication to ensure key information is shared efficiently among the small team.

Please always handle initial disagreements according to biblical principles (Matthew 18). If the issue involves complex, sensitive, or unresolved matters, your immediate next step is to confidentially notify the Lead Pastor or the Pastor you report to for guidance and support.
